    On May 17, 2014 the Sauvie Island Academy school community will once again come together to celebrate our continued success and raise funds to support the future of the school we all love!  The Sauvie Island Academy Parent Teacher Club is hosting our 12th annual school auction, and we invite you to join us for this evening of
food, fun and philanthropy! 

This will be our fourth year at the picturesque Columbia Farms located on Sauvie Island. There will be both a silent and live auction, as well as dinner catered by Wild Currant Catering and live music provided by Dance Machine.  We have many exciting items available in our auctions, and each year, we present one collaborative project created by each grade.   

Sauvie Island Academy is a public charter school focusing on place-based education, which follows the principles of stewardship and environmental responsibility.  We are able to offer a curriculum that uses our unique and natural environment to guide our students’ education.  With the help of our community, we can provide the funding for our enrichment curriculum, an integral part of the place-based education we strive to provide. This includes art, music, library and science enhancements, opportunities for field trips, assemblies, community partnerships, field studies, and much more!
